As Avengers: Infinity War approaches, Chris Evans gives us some insight into Captain America's status with Iron Man after the events of Civil War.
While Black Widow always keeps her cards close to the chest when it comes to her relationships, Captain America handles his social circles in a much different demeanor. At the conclusion of the third Captain America film, we see that Evans tells Stark, via a package delivery by Stan Lee, that he will be there for him if needed. While Tony gets emotional at the sentiment, it is unclear if the two will ever be friends again.
On a recent set visit, Collider was able to get some details on what is going on with the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s favorite fugitive. The topic of the fractured bromance between the two iconic heroes was addressed, with Avengers star Chris Evans saying the following:
“I don’t think either one of us are ones to hold grudges. I think we operate very binary, utilitarian approach to most things we do, and I don’t think we let emotion dictate our reality. It’s been a couple years, so I think we both, to some degree, not moved on, but maybe buried some things.”
Let us hope that the two can patch things up in time to fight alongside the rest of the Avengers and stop the Mad Titan Thanos from bringing devastation and destruction to the universe.
Avengers: Infinity War is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Benedict Wong, Letitia Wright, Tom Hiddleston, Benicio Del Toro, Danai Gurira and Josh Brolin.
