‘Captain Marvel’ & ‘Avengers’ Star Brie Larson Lifts Mjolnir In New Image

Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame star Brie Larson wielded Mjolnir in a new image posted on social media.

During the climactic battle of Avengers: Endgame, Captain America was able to wield Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, proving fans who always believed he was worthy of lifting the weapon to be correct. Of course, to date, only Thor and Captain America have proven themselves worthy of wielding Mjolnir while fans can only speculate on whether other heroes like Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel would be capable of lifting the hammer.

Real-life, however, played out differently in a social media post from Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame star Brie Larson. In a photo shared on her official Instagram account, Captain Marvel and Avengers star Brie Larson can be seen holding the Mjolnir prop and the actress posted the caption with the image: “… told you I could lift it.”

Brie Larson, who is set to reprise her role as Carol Danvers in a Captain Marvel sequel, was last seen as the character in Avengers: Endgame.

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”
