‘Captain Marvel’ Mid-Credits Scene Officially Released In Anticipation For ‘Avengers: Endgame’

This is the week everyone. We are truly in the endgame now. After over a year (perhaps 11 years) of anticipation, Marvel Studios is about to premiere Avengers: Endgame to the world. In preparation for what is shaping up to be one of the biggest blockbusters of all-time already, the mid-credits sequence for Captain Marvel has officially been released online.

You can watch the mid-credits scene down below:

The Captain Marvel mid-credits scene was shared within a thread that included the mid-credits scene from Ant-Man and the Wasp. Both scenes involve our titular heroes questioning what has happened to some of their friends and allies after the decimation of half of all living creatures in the universe as seen at the end of last year’s cultural phenomenon that was Avengers: Infinity War.

Captain Marvel was the penultimate entry in the MCU before Avengers: Endgame hits theaters. Clearly, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and the crew made this strategic decision because based off of the trailers and TV spots for Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) is going to have a key role in helping our surviving Avengers in the fight against Thanos (Josh Brolin).

What did you think of the Captain Marvel mid-credits scene? Are you excited to see how Captain Marvel interacts with the rest of the Avengers in Endgame? Sound off in the comments below, and be sure to continue following Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While plot details still remain under wraps, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are teaming up with the likes of Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Nebula (Karen Gillan) and Captain Marvel and may utilize the Quantum Realm in their efforts to undo the decimation from Thanos’ snap and bring back half of the universe’s population which was turned to dust by the Mad Titan.

Here is the plot synopsis for Avengers: Endgame:

A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame opens in theaters on April 26, 2019.
