‘The Art Of Captain Marvel’ Book Reveals All Of The Heroes & Villains

We’re just over two months away from the long-awaited Captain Marvel to arrive in theaters. So far we’ve had two very well done trailers, a grandmother being punched in the face and now a look at all the players in the upcoming blockbuster has been revealed thanks to the release of The Art Of Captain Marvel cover which Marvel Studios Director of Visual Development Andy Park shared on his Twitter.

We know that Brie Larson as Carol Danvers and Samuel L. Jackson as the notorious Nick Fury will be headlining the film, putting into motion events that we hope will tie up any loose ends in the MCU leading up to the end credit scene in Avengers: Infinity War.

If we just go off what we have seen, we’re made to believe that Ben Mendehlson as Talos, a Skrull leader, is the main villain of the movie, but after taking a closer look at the cover, one could say that there is a familiar looking race of beings we have seen twice before looming in the darkness. I’m talking of course about the Chitauri, an army of aliens under the control of the Mad Titan Thanos.

Could this be the tie-in we’ve all been waiting for? Does Danvers have a personal score to settle when she answers the call from Fury at the end of Avengers: Infinity War? We certainly can’t wait to find out.

Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.

Captain Marvel will be released in theaters on March 8, 2019. Following her debut, Captain Marvel will return in the next Avengers film, Avengers: Endgame. The film will serve as a follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War and as the conclusion to the 22 films that came before it.

Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on Captain Marvel and the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we learn it.
