‘Captain Marvel’ Tracking For A Massive $100M-Plus Debut

Captain Marvel is almost upon us and it appears that the film is tracking for a massive $100 million-plus debut this March.

Brie Larson is set to light the screen with her debut as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel soon and the hero appears to be tracking for a big debut that could reach or match Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’s huge box office numbers. Marvel has been getting ready to release their first female-led superhero film as she gears up to end a war coming to Earth. Captain Marvel will feature the origin story of Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel and bring viewers into the world she comes from and was raised in.

DC’s Wonder Woman opened to $103.3 domestically when it debuted in 2017 and the last Marvel film Ant-Man and the Wasp opened to $75.8 million domestically. With these kind of numbers, Captain Marvel hopes to match the success of Wonder Woman‘s debut and reach over $100M when it opens in theaters. With the recent visually stunning TV spots, the film has gained more traction among fans. After viewing more of the incredible action sequences that will be present in the film fans and viewers have become more excited for Captain Marvel’s debut.
