‘Captain Marvel’: Brie Larson Wants To Lead An All Female Avengers Team

With Captain Marvel soon hitting theaters and her upcoming role in Avengers: Endgame, Brie Larson’s character is poised to become one of the teams heaviest hitters and the actress is down for leading an all-female team.

During a recent interview with Comicbook.com, Brie Larson talked about the prospect of leading an all-female Avengers team. Her response was very enthusiastic but took into account the in-universe implications of such a thing:

Duh! I mean, I feel like they have to elect me. We’ve been talking about this, about what our democratic system would be, as to who gets to be the leader — or if there even is one. Maybe we can all co-exist happily, we don’t need to have a specific leader. But if they nominated me for that, of course I’m in.

From the sound of things, Brie Larson is down for it but doesn’t want to necessarily be the leader.

What do you make of the actress’ comments? Would you like to see Captain Marvel lead an all-female Avengers team? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
