The Captain Marvel trailer debuted this week and like every other Marvel movie – the trailer is a cultural happening. The anticipation for the trailer was so big, Marvel decided to hold a viewing of it in IMAX at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, a fitting venue for the fighter pilot turned astronaut. And whether it was our first glimpse at Marvel’s Mightiest Hero, the tease of the epic space-faring drama, and the infamous punch heard in every retirement home, the trailer has been on repeat on most every screen you can find.
But Captain Marvel herself, Brie Larson, took the time to thank who came out for the Captain Marvel party by taking to Instagram to thank all the military families, STEM students, and anyone else who was kind enough to take time out of their day to come to the public viewing.
