We’ve all heard the saying “not all heroes wear capes” and that’s the case for Barry Curtis, Head of Security for Marvel Studios. Curtis’ job entails keeping Marvel’s deepest, darkest secrets a secret and preventing any if not all information from leaking out into the public.
The real Marvel most valuable player was recently immortalized in the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe film Captain Marvel. Barry Curtis is credited as the mall security guard who is the first human character that Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers interacts with after falling out of the sky and landing inside a Blockbuster.
The scene is definitely a memorable one and it’s hard to believe that Curtis doesn’t have an acting background because he plays a security guard flawlessly. He must have learned a thing or two from being around acting greats like Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, and Mark Ruffalo for so long.
