The Kree Supreme Intelligence will play a role in the Captain Marvel movie, as revealed by set visit reports. This actually builds off of something that Jude Law had stated in a past interview with Collider last year and could shed further light on who Law is actually playing in the film:
“He has a very particular relationship – and any of you who know a lot about the Krees, there’s a sort of a divine element called the Supreme Intelligence, and that comes to play in this. And each of the Starforce, indeed each of the Kree warriors, has a particular relationship with the Supreme Intelligence, and my character has a very particular relationship with Supreme Intelligence which becomes revealed and is quite complex and ultimately very revealing of what it is that motivates.”
So it seems that there are a lot of intergalactic elements that Captain Marvel will introduce when the film hits theaters in about two months. How much of the Kree Supreme Intelligence do you hope we will get to see in the film? And do you think that Jude Law’s prior comments about the Supreme Intelligence could indicate the true nature of his character? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
“Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel sidesteps the traditional origin-story template, and when it begins, Carol already has her powers. She’s left her earthly life behind to join an elite Kree military team called Starforce, led by Jude Law’s enigmatic commander. But before long, Carol finds herself back on Earth with new questions about her past. And she’s got a formidable enemy in the form of the Skrulls — the notorious Marvel baddies made all the more dangerous by their shape-shifting abilities. Ben Mendelsohn plays their leader Talos, who spearheads a Skrull invasion of Earth.”
Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, Mckenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.
The film will fly into theaters on March 8, 2019.
