Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 may be on indefinite hold but that doesn’t mean that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is staying away from galaxy-wide adventure. In March, Captain Marvel will be hitting theaters and not only will it bring fans the long-awaited debut of the Skrulls on the big screen, it will also be the first time a female superhero has headlined an MCU film on her own.
Today, Marvel Studios held a panel at CCXP in Sao Paulo, Brazil and during the panel they screened a clip from the film and handed out some awesome posters exclusive to the event. Marvel Studios released the awesome poster via Instagram and now fans who couldn’t attend the event can enjoy the impressive art in HD. Check out the poster in the post below.
Captain Marvel hasn’t appeared on-screen in the MCU just yet but fans may remember that her character was teased in the post-credits scene in Avengers: Infinity War. During Nick Fury’s (Samuel L. Jackson) final moments before he falls victim to Thanos’ (Josh Brolin) Infinity Gauntlet snap, he’s shown sending out a message to Captain Marvel. In the trailer for the upcoming origin film, fans can see that Jackson’s Nick Fury will be playing an important role in the story, which takes place in the ’90s.
