The image, shared on the Captain Marvel News Twitter account, gives us a look at not just Carol Danvers, but also fellow Kree warriors Captain Atlas, Minn-Erva, Bron-Char, and Korath. Who? Exactly. You remember Korath the Pursuer from Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014. Well, actor Djimon Hounsou is set to reprise his role in the upcoming Captain Marvel film, as you can see in the promotional image below:
With Captain Marvel serving as a sort of prequel to future events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, perhaps we will see what led Korath down the path that eventually led to him exchanging blows with the Guardians of the Galaxy. The film will fly into theaters on March 8, 2019.
