The film starring Brie Larson dials back the clock to the ’90s to tell the origin of Captain Marvel aka Carol Danvers, a test pilot in the comics who gained super strength and the ability to fly after being caught in an explosion with a Kree device. The film will also feature the debut of The Skrulls, an advanced shapeshifting alien race known for the Kree-Skrull War in the comics.
The film’s first trailer featured a glimpse at a surprising moment when Captain Marvel punches an old woman, presumably a Kree, aboard a train. The moment instantly went viral spawning a ton of memes across the internet. The new Weird Trailer pokes fun at the upcoming Marvel film, featuring appearances from Jason Momoa’s Aquaman as well as Tommy Wiseau’s Joker but most notably swaps out the old woman Captain Marvel punches for a baby instead. Check it out below!
Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
