Last year during the film’s shoot on location in Los Angeles, set photos made their way online featuring Brie Larson donning Captain Marvel’s Kree suit. In a batch that featured Larson in a parking lot as she looked over a map of the greater Los Angeles area, the actress was seen appearing unphased as a man sporting a leather jacket was planted on his knees as he struggled while gripping onto Captain Marvel’s hand.
A fan has noticed that Captain Marvel appears to have stolen the man’s leather jacket as she can be seen wearing it in both stills released for the film as well as the end of the second trailer. You can check out the post below.
Mississipi Grind helmers Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck have directed the film from a script written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve.The film will tell the origin story of Captain Marvel aka Carol Danvers, a test pilot in the comics who gained super strength and the ability to fly after being caught in an explosion with a Kree device. Captain Marvel will also feature the debut of The Skrulls, an advanced shapeshifting alien race known for the Kree-Skrull War in the comics.
Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.
Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.
Captain Marvel will be released in theaters on March 8, 2019. Following her debut, Captain Marvel will return in the next Avengers film, Avengers: Endgame. The film will serve as a follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War and as the conclusion to the 22 films that came before it.
