Carl Weathers has confirmed his return to the show's upcoming season.
In the Disney Plus show, Carl Weathers portrayed Greef Karga and was the man who primarily gave Pedro Pascal’s The Mandalorian his bounties and set him on the path that eventually brought him to The Child. Throughout the Star Wars series, Carl Weathers’ character was an on-again, off-again ally of The Mandalorian, betraying him early on in the show. Eventually, he opted to side with the titular character against the Empire’s forces after seeing The Child’s abilities first hand.
At the end of the Disney Plus series, Greef Karga, The Mandalorian, Gina Carano’s Cara Dune, and Taika Waititi’s IG-11 managed to drive off Giancarlo Esposito’s Moff Gideon and his forces. The last we saw of Carl Weathers’ character he was looking to re-establish his practice alongside Cara Dune. But it appears that will not be the last we saw of him as the actor has confirmed that he will be returning for to the role in the Star Wars show’s upcoming season:
