Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher and mother Debbie Reynolds, after passing away one day apart, will be having a joint funeral.
The mother and daughter will have a joint funeral and will be buried together at Forest-Lawn Hollywood Hills, according to Todd Fisher, son and brother to Reynolds and Fisher, respectively.
Reynolds and Fisher were preparing for Carrie’s funeral arrangements when the elder suffered a stroke. Todd Fisher said that Carrie’s death was too much for Reynolds to handle. “She said, ‘I want to be with Carrie.’ And then she was gone.”
On December 29, Todd posted a beautiful tribute to his late mother and sister using the lyrics from the “Singin’ in the Rain” movie, which Reynolds starred in. They go like this: “What a glorious feeling, I’m happy again.”
Carrie Fisher is survived by her daughter, Billie Lourd. As of right now, there has been no confirmation on when the joint funeral will take place.
