Chadwick Boseman Confirms Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ Has Wrapped Production

Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther directed by Ryan Coogler and starring Chadwick Boseman is officially in the can.

The film’s star, Black Panther himself, Chadwick Boseman revealed the production has completed principal photography on Twitter with a photo of himself along with Coogler, co-star Lupita N’yongo and GLOW star Sydelle Noel.

Marvel’s Black Panther features a star-studded cast including Chadwick Boseman in the title role as T’Challah aka Black Panther, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Forest Whitaker as Zuri, Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Sterling K. Brown as N’Jobu, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Florence Kasumba as Ayo, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Daniel Kaluuya as W’Kabe, Winston Duke as M’Kabe aka Man-Ape, and Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaue aka Klaw.

Black Panther follows T’Challa who, after the events of Captain America: Civil War, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.

Black Panther hits theaters February 18, 2018.
