Avengers: Infinity War is a movie packed to the brim with notable characters from all across the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Yet, many characters’ fates were still left up in the air following Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet snap in the film’s finale. One of the many characters still left unaccounted for following Thanos’ decimation is Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor). The character appeared in 2016’s Doctor Strange and last we saw Baron Mordo, he was in the midst of a very nefarious plan.
Chiwetel Ejiofor recently sat down for an interview with MTV News and was asked about Baron Mordo’s current status in the MCU. There have been plenty of slip-ups from MCU actors over the years, such as Mark Ruffalo spoiling the end of Avengers: Infinity War a year prior to its release, but Chiwetel Ejiofor remained tight-lipped on whether or not Baron Mordo was killed by Thanos’ snap. This is what the actor had to say about the subject.
“Um, we are going to have to watch the movie when it comes out.”
The Doctor Strange star continued to joke about the fate of his character in Avengers: Infinity War but still refrained from revealing any spoilers from this year’s Avengers: Endgame.
“There’s no point in me telling you all the things that happened.”
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Avengers: Infinity War and its follow-up Avengers: Endgame as soon as more information becomes available.
