Chris Evans Reveals His Favorite Captain America Suit

In a recent Q&A, Captain America actor Chris Evans revealed which of the Captain America suits was his favorite.

During an appearance at ACE Comic Con, the actor was asked which of the Captain America suits was his favorite. He responded with his favorite and his least favorite:

“I was really partial to the Winter Soldier Cap suit. I just like that it was kind of that all-navy number. To me, it just…we called it the stealth suit. I don’t know if that’s made it out of what we would say on set, but yeah, the stealth suit to me was just cool, but you know, I’ve loved many suits…maybe not the first Avengers, maybe not that suit, but the other suits were great.”

From the sound of things, even Chris Evans hated his suit in the first Avengers film.

The actor is currently set to appear in Avengers 4 which, according to rumor and inferred from the actor’s own words, is set to be his final appearance as the character. Chris Evans’ contract with Marvel will reportedly be up after this film and the actor apparently has no intention of renewing it. Ironically, one of the reasons that he cited was due to how uncomfortable he felt that the suit was.

Here’s a reported synopsis for Avengers 4:

A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.

The untitled Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3, 2019.
