After working together on Marvel Studios’ last two Avengers films, Chris Hemsworth and the Russo Brothers re-teamed for a new film titled Extraction. Produced by Hemsworth and the Russo Brothers, with Joe Russo having penned the screenplay, the film is scheduled to debut on Netflix later this month.
Now, Netflix has released a behind-the-scenes video that spotlights how the creative team on Extraction delivered a nearly 12-minute-long action shot. As explained in the video, the “oner” consists of a series of long shots that are “joined together seamlessly to form a single continuous shot.”

Hemsworth will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe win Thor: Love and Thunder. Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, the film will be based on Jason Aaron’s Mighty Thor comic book run, in which Jane Foster becomes the new Thor. Directed by Taika Waititi, Love and Thunder is set to star Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, and is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 18, 2022.
