Chris Hemsworth Praises ‘Wonder Woman’ Says ‘It’s Not A Competition’

The Wonder Woman love just keeps pouring in. During an interview with MTV at San Diego Comic-Con, Chris Hemsworth (Thor himself) was discussing his future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and where he ranks among Hollywood’s Chris’ when the conversation quickly shifted toward the DCEU summer hit.

Though the more pressing news is Chris Hemsworth’s future as Thor, the God of Thunder won’t be giving spoilers away any time soon, only indicating that he “kinda” knows when Thor’s run is set to be over before basically joking that he’ll do another one if Thor: Ragnarok is enough of a success.

Meanwhile, Wonder Woman will be crowned the biggest hit of the summer after reeling in $389 million domestically, bringing the worldwide total to $780 million. It’s safe to say Hemsworth isn’t the only fan, but it sounds like he’s a big one.

“I have such love and admiration for all Chris’ on the planet — and all superheroes, including Wonder Woman.” He said. “I think it’s my favorite film this year. They did such a good job. We’re gonna make more, but it’s OK. It’s not a competition, it’s all love.”

It’s all love? Sounds like someone steers clear of internet comment sections. It’s always nice though when someone part of the MCU, DCEU or even Fox reaffirms that’s it’s all a friendly competition at the end of the day, with no particular studio wishing another fails on a superhero film.
