WATCH: Chris O’Dowd Totally Forgot He Was In ‘Thor: The Dark World’

Actor Chris O’Dowd recently sat down for an interview that revealed that he seems to have forgotten that he was in Thor: The Dark World.

Chris O’Dowd had a small role in Thor: The Dark World. The actor played the character of Richard in the Marvel film and had a date with Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster. Though the scene was short it did have a funny moment between the two and a sudden appearance of Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis. Though Chris O’Dowd’s character has not made a return to the MCU films, there is the question of whether his character survived Thanos’ snap in Avengers: Infinity War. You can check out his intervie with MTV News below.

During the hilarious interview, Chris O’Dowd was not able to say Thor’s sequel title properly until he got some help from Josh Horowitz of MTV News. With answers like “Thor-ier” and “Age of Ultron: this time, things are Thor-ny” the actor was not getting close to the film’s proper title. Wondering if Thor is still going, he imagines his character will come back. Soon after it seems the reporter presumably spoiled the ending of Avengers: Infinity War after explaining half the universe has died. Though Chris O’Dowd may have forgotten that he is part of the MCU we have not forgotten Richard was left alone in the restaurant. Hopefully his character received a good lunch.

Thor: The Dark World and its sequel Thor: Ragnarok are both available to own on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD. You can see Thor return to the big screen in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame as he is set to defeat Thanos this time.
