In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, in which Chris Pine gives his thoughts on the future of Steve Trevor after this second Diana Prince outing.
“I think Steve’s done. I think Steve’s done his bit. I wish them all the luck in the world.”
While it would be sad not see Steve Trevor pop up in a third film down the road, I can definitely see where Chris Pine’s coming from with this statement. Certain characters can only serve their purpose for so long, and while Steve’s relationship with Diana is compelling, we definitely want to see her become the headstrong, compassionate superhero we all know and love. Not to say that Chris Pine couldn’t at least have some sort of cameo, but anything’s possible.
What do you think of Chris Pine’s comments? Would you like to see Steve Trevor show up again somewhere down the line? Let us know in the comments!!
