Chris Pratt Knows You're Mad At Him Over 'Avengers: Infinity War'
One of the most-discussed aspects of the film revolves around Chris Pratt’s character, Star-Lord. In the final act of the film, Star-Lord is on Titan with fellow Guardians Drax (Dave Bautista), Mantis (Pom Klementieff) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) where they form an alliance with Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland). They all commit to a plan to bring Thanos down and remove his Infinity Gauntlet to protect the entire universe from certain doom.
The plan seems to come into fruition until Thanos reveals to the seven heroes trying to thwart his plans that he ended up sacrificing his beloved daughter Gamora (Zoe Saldana) to receive the Soul Stone. Upon realization of this fact, Star-Lord allows his emotions to get the best of him as he exercises his rage against Thanos – leading him to take back his advantage against the team and eventually, receiving all six Infinity Stones when he makes it to Wakanda.
This of course leads to the *snap*. And just like that, White Wolf (Sebastian Stan), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Groot (Vin Diesel), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Mantis, Drax, Star-Lord, Doctor Strange and Spider-Man to all turn to dust in the wind.
Fans continue to debate that because of Star-Lord acting on his emotions, half of all existence in the universe (including him) vanishes. Thankfully, Chris Pratt took to his official Instagram story to respond to fans regarding their anger:
“I know you mad at Star-Lord because of what happened in the end. Well, I guess I’ll just go and… F MYSELF”
Leave it to Chris Pratt to always find a humorous way to respond to angry fans.
