This Mashup Of Christian Bale & Ben Affleck’s Batman Suits Is Perfect

This awesome artwork combines Christian Bale’s Batsuit from the Dark Knight trilighy and Ben Affleck’s DCEU costume, creating the perfect Batman suit.

Christian Bale and Ben Affleck both played Batman in three films. Christian Bale starred in Christopher Nolan’s acclaimed Dark Knight trilogy while Ben Affleck portrayed the DC Comics icon in Batman v Superman: Dawn of JusticeSuicide Squad and Justice League. The debate on who the best Batman is continues with Christian Bale and Ben Affleck usually near the top of the prestigious list of actors who have brought Bruce Wayne to life.

Christian Bale’s Batman reinvented the character after the disaster that was Batman & Robin. Ben Affleck was the first Batman to be included in a cinematic universe, but never had the opportunity to star in his own film. Christian Bale had an all-black Batsuit with a practical purpose and Ben Affleck’s Batman brought the comic book accurate grey look to the silver screen. A new piece of fan art by digital artist Jakub Maslowski combines both of their Batman costumes and the results are amazing. Check out the artwork below.

Robert Pattinson is replacing Ben Affleck for the next Batman movie, which is being directed by Matt Reeves for a 2021 release. Plot details for The Batman are being kept under lock and key, but the film is said to center around a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that reportedly includes Catwoman and The Penguin. The Matt Reeves film will follow Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector and will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Batman.

Matt Reeves’ The Batman is one of the many projects currently being developed by Warner Bros. and DC. These projects include The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, Black Adam, Cyborg, Supergirl, New Gods, and Nightwing.

The Batman is set to hit theaters on June 25, 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news on Christian Bale, Ben Affleck and the future of the DC Extended Universe!
