'Dunkirk' director Christopher Nolan discusses the possibility of directing a James Bond film and what it would take for him to accept the job.
Nolan revealed that he would direct a Bond film if the franchise needed to be reinvented:
“A Bond movie, definitely. I’ve spoken to the producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson over the years. I deeply love the character, and I’m always excited to see what they do with it. Maybe one day that would work out. You’d have to be needed, if you know what I mean. It has to need reinvention; it has to need you. And they’re getting along very well.”
Of course, Nolan has experience breathing new life into troubled franchises, having directed the critically acclaimed Batman Begins and The Dark Knight several years after disastrous Batman & Robin. Would you like to see Nolan’s take on the iconic James Bond character? Share your thoughts below!
