New Poster For Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’ Spotlights John David Washington

Warner Bros. released a new official poster for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet featuring John David Washington.

Acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s next project is feature film shrouded in mystery titled Tenet, which features an ensemble cast that includes BlacKkKlansman star John David Washington. While details on John David Washington’s role are currently scarce, Christopher Nolan has described the character as the “hero” of Tenet.

Now, Warner Bros. has released a new poster for Tenet that puts on the spotlight on John David Washington’s character in the Christopher Nolan film. The Tenet poster features two versions of John David Washington’s character, one with a breathing device of some kind, and includes a tagline reading, “Time Runs Out.”

Full plot details on Tenet are currently under wraps, though Warner Bros. officially describes the film as “an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage.” Production on Christopher Nolan’s Tenet took place across seven countries.

Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, Tenet stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh, and Himesh Patel. Christopher Nolan also serves as a producer alongside his wife Emma Thomas, with Thomas Hayslip on board as an executive producer.

Tenet will be released in theaters on July 17, 2020.
