Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight’ Trilogy Set For Theatrical Re-Release

Warner Bros. has announced Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy is set to re-release in theaters overseas beginning May 29.

Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy is set to roll out in theaters with each film releasing over the course of a three week period beginning with Batman Begins on May 29 in Taiwan, and June 4 in Hong Kong, followed by The Dark Knight on June 11, and The Dark Knight Rises on June 18.

The rerelease of The Dark Knight trilogy is part of Warner Bros.’ ongoing efforts to return audiences to theaters following closures in due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Hong Kong cinemas re-opened their doors to the public just two weeks ago. Earlier this year, the studio also announced plans to rerelease the first of the Harry Potter franchise, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, in 4K in China following the global health crisis.

Warner Bros. also appears to be the first studio set to release a film once theaters begin to reopen in the United States as Nolan’s Tenet is maintaining its July 17 release date. The film marks Nolan’s first film since 2017’s Dunkirk. Plot details remain under wraps but the film has been officially described as “an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage.” A new trailer is expected to arrive soon.

Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, Tenet stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh, and Himesh Patel. Christopher Nolan also serves as a producer alongside his wife Emma Thomas, with Thomas Hayslip on board as an executive producer.

Tenet will be released in theaters on July 17, 2020. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news surrounding the upcoming Christopher Nolan film and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content in the future!
