‘Wonder Woman’: Christopher Nolan Shares His Love For The Film

Wonder Woman opened to critical acclaim and continues to perform exceptionally well at the box office. Now, The Dark Knight trilogy director Christopher Nolan added his voice to the legions of fans who loved the film during an interview with Yahoo! Movies.

Nolan expressed his love for Wonder Woman after being asked if he had seen the Patty Jenkins film:

“I did and I loved it. I mean, I watch the films. I enjoy films very much as a moviegoer these days. I spent 10 years of my life dealing with one of the greatest characters in popular fiction. It was a great honor and a privilege to work with that, but there’s a time to pass it on to new people.”

Of course, Christopher Nolan served as an executive producer on Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which introduced audiences to Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and pitched the initial concept for the first DC Extended Universe film Man of Steel. However, the filmmaker later stated that both he and his co-writer/brother Jonathan Nolan would no longer be involved in the development of DCEU projects.

Christopher Nolan’s latest film titled Dunkirk arrives in theaters next week!

Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, the film stars Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh, Mark Rylance, Cillian Murphy, Aneurin Barnard, James D’Arcy, Jack Lowden, Barry Keoghan and Harry Styles.

Dunkirk will be released in theaters on July 21, 2017 and will be presented in digital projection, 35MM, 70MM, IMAX digital and IMAX 70MM.
