New Christopher Reeve Superman Art Shows Off The Classic Man of Steel

The tributes an era past continue to roll in as new art featuring the Christopher Reeve of Superman flying over a parade featuring the Man of Steel guarding the late president, John F. Kennedy.

The image itself has been going around the internet quite a bit. The parade itself is always featured but the character featured in the image always seems to change. The first one apparently featured Spider-Man swinging above the president. This newest image, however, has the Christopher Reeve version of the Man of Steel watching over the president.

The Christopher Reeve version of Superman can be seen flying above the crowd. It parade doesn’t respond to him but its clear that he is watching over the president. Perhaps in this image, he may be able to change history.

What do you all make of this image of the classic Man of Steel? Is it a nice, classic image of two American icons or do the images of Christopher Reeve and JFK hit to close to home? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Superman was last seen in the 2017 film, Justice League. The film stars Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Amber Heard as Mera, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.

The DCEU continues with Aquaman, which is in theaters now, followed by Shazam! on April 5, 2019, Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) on February 7, 2020, and Wonder Woman 1984 on June 5, 2020. A standalone Joker film set outside of the DC Films universe starring Joaquin Phoenix as the Clown Prince of Crime is also set to hit theaters October 4, 2019.
