The series has continued to improve following it and it looks like another shake-up might be in store when the upcoming Captain America: Civil War hits theaters. With the major conflict in the Marvel Cinematic Universe quickly approaching, showrunner Jed Whedon confirms it will “definitely” have an effect on the series.
It will definitely have a ripple effect. It is one world, so if there is a giant event, it will definitely have a ripple effect on our world.
What kind of effect remains to be seen of course. Could it be as huge as what went down during The Winter Soldier? Could this be the event that finally brings the spy organization out of the shadows and into the light? We’ll find out in a few weeks.
