‘Star Wars’: Clint Howard Hinted To Cameo In Spin-Off

Director Ron Howard took the reins of the Han Solo-centric Star Wars spin-off not that long ago, and from the sound of things, he might be bringing his brother Clint in to make a cameo.

Ron Howard has shown off a lot of the set of the movie via Twitter as a way of helping fans get an understanding of what the movie will be like, and after one of his most recent posts, it looks like he’s answering fan responses as well. When asked about if his brother would make a cameo in the Star Wars movie, Howard responded with the following:

Clint Howard is known for his involvement with genre entertainment, appearing in three Star Trek shows (The Original Series, Deep Space 9, and Enterprise) as different characters and prominently appearing in several horror B-movies. Howard is also known for appearing in many of his older brother’s movies, with supporting roles in Cocoon, Backdraft, and Apollo 13, among others – so it’s neat to see that the new Star Wars will have a different kind of family reunion going for it.

The untitled Star Wars Han Solo spin-off is scheduled for a May 25, 2018 release date. Its cast includes Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo, Michael K. Williams, Ian Kenny, and Warwick Davis.
