Original Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker director Colin Trevorrow debunked the recent rumors circling his original script for the movie, saying that there’s “not one thing” in the rumor that’s accurate. The recent report claiming to have details from Colin Trevorrow’s script from The Rise of Skywalker detailed that the story would continue the idea that Rey’s parents were nobodies. However, Colin Trevorrow took to Twitter to refute the rumor completely.
Colin Trevorrow debunked the rumor by saying the report doesn’t contain anything that he and co-writer Derek Connelly had written for The Rise of Skywalker. Colin Trevorrow also called the rumors “rough,” but wished the reporters well regardless of the inaccuracies.
