A reference to a famous issue of Marvel’s Daredevil comic book series has been spotted in the season three trailer for the Netflix series.
Fans everywhere were beyond excited when the trailer for the next installment in the Daredevil saga. The teaser showed the return of old villains and introduced a new on that has a certain connection to Matt Murdock. They have the same suit. It is looking like home audiences everywhere will get to see the mirror match of the century when Daredevil takes on Daredevil in what promises to be an epic showdown. But before the battle goes down a scene showing the new Daredevil holding a pistol making Murdock’s alter-ego look really bad is something we have seen before. You can check out the post now.
The cover is from 1982’s Daredevil #184. The scene is set up very well to pay homage to the classic title. The Man Without Fear is no longer playing nice guy on the cover and from the looks of this trailer, this new devil has the same idea. Matt Murdock will have his hands full with Kingpin returning to the fold and this impostor framing the hero. This looks to be one of the toughest challenges that Matt Murdock has ever gone up against. It will be interesting to see who the last devil standing will be when the series makes its triumphant return in two weeks.
