Titans continues to introduce new characters into the live-action DC universe with the Hawk, Dove, the Nuclear Family, Doom Patrol, and Jason Todd. In this week’s episode of Titans, the show will introduce Donna Troy, otherwise known as Wonder Woman’s sidekick Wonder Girl and Leslie will portray Donna in the series. The latest episode promo doesn’t show her wearing the Wonder Girl costume and Leslie spoke to ComicBook.com, where she was asked if we will see Donna suit up in the series:
“I will say that you will definitely see Wonder Girl peak through. You will see elements of her come out. We’re seeing Donna in her photographer gear. Dick [Grayson] didn’t show up and she wasn’t wearing her suit all of the sudden. I think fans are going to want to know when we’ll see little peaks of Wonder Girl, and we will see it in the next episode — and some of her accessories.”
With Donna’s introduction in this week’s episode, Leslie reveals she will become a major part of the series:
“She’s inevitably going to be involved with this, that’s very apparent. Donna is now involved. Dick has dragged her into this mess, as a brother would.”
The series stars Brenton Thwaites as Richard “Dick” Grayson / Robin, Anna Diop as Koriand’r / Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth / Raven, and Ryan Potter as Garfield “Gar” Logan / Beast Boy.
Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.
Titans is now available exclusively on DC Universe.
