After the first teaser for John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place: Part II announced the full trailer for the horror sequel arrives on New Year’s Day, an eerie poster surfaced online. The new footage showed Emily Blunt’s Evelyn Abbot leading her children to the end of the sand path in their post-apocalyptic world after they discovered a way to kill the extraterrestrial monsters in the first film. Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou also join the cast for the horror sequel.
The creepy new poster for John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place: Part II arrived on Twitter shortly after the teaser was released on YouTube. It shows Emily Blunt’s Evelyn Abbot standing with her children infront of several industrial buildings as they leave the wilderness. The family will also have to fight off new threats as well as the monsters that hunt the human race by sound. A Quiet Place followed a family’s struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by extraterrestrial creatures with an acute sense of hearing, which forced humans to remain silent in order to avoid becoming prey. The story concluded with Emily Blunt’s Evelyn Abbot preparing to take on the creatures as they invaded the home she took shelter in with her children and husband (who sacrificed himself to save his family) after discovering a way to defeat them.
Written and directed by John Krasinski, A Quiet Place: Part II stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, and Djimon Hounsou.
A Quiet Place: Part II is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 20, 2020.
