SPOILER Sacrifices Himself In ‘Crisis On Infinite Earths’ Part Three

A major DC superhero from The Flash sacrificed himself in epic fashion on the third part of Crisis on Infinite Earths Arrowverse crossover. Spoilers ahead for Crisis on Infinite Earths part three!

Grant Gustin’s The Flash has been dealing with the Monitor’s prophecy that he will die since the Elseworlds crossover. In the third part of Crisis on Infinite Earths, Grant Gustin’s The Flash is ready to sacrifice himself until John Wesley Shipp’s The Flash from the ’90s television series steps in and saves the earth they are on.

John Wesley Shipp has been apart of Grant Gustin’s The Flash series since season one where the actor first played Barry’s father, Henry Allen. John Wesley Shipp then went on to play the Jay Garrick version of The Flash. John Wesley Shipp then returned as The Flash from the original television series on the Elseworlds and Crisis  crossovers.

Crisis will span two quarters and consist of ArrowThe FlashSupergirlLegends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman. The Arrowverse crossover will continue with two more episodes in December before concluding with two additional entries in January.

In addition to the regular cast members of each Arrowverse series, Crisis will also feature appearances by Tyler Hoechlin as Superman, Brandon Routh as Clark Kent/Superman and Ray Palmer/The Atom, LaMonica Garrett as the Anti-Monitor, Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor, Tom Cavanagh as Pariah, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, Cress Williams as Black Lightning, Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne, Johnathon Schaech as Jonah Hex, Erica Durance as Lois Lane, Tom Welling as Clark Kent / Superman, Ashley Scott Will as Huntress, and Burt Ward in an undisclosed role.
