‘Crisis On Infinite Earths’ Had Hidden ‘Batman’ 89 Batmobile Easter Egg

A new video looking at the references in Crisis On Infinite Earths reveals a hidden easter egg referencing the Batman 1989 Batmobile.

Crisis On Infinite Earths was stuffed with references from across the entire DC multiverse of movies, shows and comics – but a new video reveals an interesting reference to Tim Burton’s Batman in one of the early episodes in the crossover. The second episode of Crisis On Infinite Earths saw Batwoman and Supergirl travel to Earth-99 to find Kevin Conroy’s Batman, only to discover he was bitter and had spent his career killing his enemies. But the episode also featured a great nod to the Batman ’89 Batmobile.

The new video posted to Twitter goes through many of the major easter eggs from Crisis On Infinite Earths, and it reveals an interesting look at the Batman ’89 Batmobile in the second episode that took place on Earth-99. The Batcave fans saw had the Batman ’89 Batmobile in side it, but it was covered in a huge sheet – only revealing the back fin of Batman’s iconic vehicle. THE EARTH-SHATTERING “CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS” CROSSOVER CONCLUDES – “Worlds lived, worlds died. Nothing will ever be the same.” Gregory Smith directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu and Ubah Mohamed.

In addition to the regular cast members of each Arrowverse series, Crisis on Infinite Earths featured appearances by Tyler Hoechlin as Superman, Brandon Routh as Clark Kent/Superman and Ray Palmer/The Atom, LaMonica Garrett as the Anti-Monitor, Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor, Tom Cavanagh as Pariah, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, Cress Williams as Black Lightning, Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne, Johnathon Schaech as Jonah Hex, Erica Durance as Lois Lane, Tom Welling as Clark Kent / Superman, Ashley Scott Will as Huntress, and Burt Ward in an undisclosed role.
