Cyborg Writer David F. Walker On Ray Fisher’s ‘Justice League’ Allegations

Cyborg comics writer David F Walker spoke out regarding Ray Fisher’s recent Justice League allegations regarding being made to say “Booyah”.

As Ray Fisher continues to speak out with allegations of abuse on the Justice League set and being forced into saying the Booyah catchphrase which originated from the Teen Titans animated series, comics writer David F Walker has also discussed being forced to use it on the page. Ray Fisher recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about Joss Whedon’s abusive behavior on-set, which also reportedly saw the director threaten Gal Gadot’s career.

But comics writer David F Walker explained on Twitter that in his Cyborg stories (just before DC rebooted the universe with DC Rebirth) he was forced to use “Booyah” when writing Victor Stone. The writer also pointed out that whenever he raised his concerns about using the term he was ignored. Walker also went on to say that he’d spoken with Ray Fisher about the Justice League situation, sympathizing with the star about being belittled by executives. Take a look below.
