The two Captain America’s met last Friday in House Representative Dan Crenshaw’s office where Chris Evans was surprised by his signature shield on Crenshaw’s eye glass. Talk about a clash of two alternate universes.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw lost his eye due to a bomb explosion while serving in the military in Afghanistan as a member of the U.S. Navy Seals. His story alone made him a nationally known American hero, but Crenshaw also received a little assistance from the controversial joke made about him on Saturday Night Live.
The congressman knew how to roll with the punches however and shot back at comedian Pete Davidson on a later episode of the show and made it one of the more memorable skits in recent Saturday Night Live history.
