Daniel Craig began work on the 25th James Bond film in Jamaica, where 007 is said to be enjoying retirement before the events of the upcoming film call him to action. While details on the material shot in Jamaica are slim, set photos did offer fans a glimpse at a new ride for Daniel Craig’s James Bond and the former British Secret Service agent’s reunion with Jeffrey Wright’s Felix Leiter. Now, Bond 25 director Cary Fukunaga has announced production on the next 007 films has officially wrapped in Port Antonio, Jamaica, and shared a new photo of the location on his official Instagram account.

Production on Bond 25, which is set to be Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007, is also set to take place in Italy, London, as well as on set in Pinewood Studios.

Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga from a script written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, the 25th James Bond stars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Léa Seydoux, Rory Kinnear, Ben Whishaw and Jeffrey Wright and introduced Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen and Rami Malek.
James Bond 25 is scheduled to be released in theaters on 8, April 2020.
