VIDEO: ‘No Time To Die’ Director Reveals Daniel Craig’s Surprising New James Bond Co-Star

No Time To Die director Cary Joji Fukunaga has revealed Daniel Craig’s surprising “new cast member” for his final outing as 007.

Daniel Craig is set to finish his run as James Bond with next year’s No Time To Die, which is currently filming. The cast of the next James Bond film includes several names from previous James Bond movies featuring Daniel Craig as well as a few newcomers to the 007 franchise.

Earlier this week, No Time to Die director Cary Joji Fukunaga took to Instagram to reveal a behind-the-scenes video featuring a hilarious “new cast member” for the Daniel Craig film. Taken while the next James Bond project continues to shoot in Italy, the video features a small remote-controlled toy duck making its way toward a vehicle set to the tune of the iconic Bond theme.

Daniel Craig made his debut as 007 in 2006’sCasino Royale and then reprised the role in three more movies — Quantum of SolaceSkyfall and Spectre. Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Fukunaga worked on the James Bond 25 script.

Here is the official synopsis for Daniel Craig’s No Time to Die:

Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica.  His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Filming is currently underway at Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom. Additional filming locations include London, Jamaica, Italy, and Norway.

The cast of No Time To Die includes Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Lea Seydoux, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, as well as franchise newcomers Rami Malek, Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen, David Dencik and Dali Benssalah.
