The mutant who lives...
Daniel Radcliffe might be hesitant to return to the Harry Potter franchise, but the actor is still game to join another iconic series in the future. Since his Harry Potter days, Radcliffe has expressed interest in playing Spider-Man, but that time might’ve passed. Nonetheless, one of the few complaints with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine was that he was too tall. With Radcliffe standing at 5’5″, he might be the perfect choice to bring a more comic-accurate Wolverine to the big screen.
Producer Kevin Feige recently said that Marvel hasn’t started the search for the next Wolverine and Daniel Radcliffe also admitted he doesn’t want to star in remakes of films he loves, but a lot can change. This artwork from “omelete” imagines the Harry Potter star becoming the next Wolverine for Marvel’s potential X-Men reboot and it’s definitely convincing. Check out the design below.
What do you think of the artwork? Do you think Daniel Radcliffe is a good choice for Wolverine? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below!
Hugh Jackman last played Wolverine in Logan:
In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
Directed by James Mangold, Logan stars Hugh Jackman, Sir Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, Eriq LaSalle, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Boyd Holbrook.
Logan is available on Digital HD, Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Stay tuned for all the latest news regarding Daniel Radcliffe, Hugh Jackman and the future of Wolverine and the rest of the X-Men in the MCU, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more content!
