‘Daredevil’ Star Charlie Cox Was “Very Excited” For Season 4 Plans

Daredevil star Charlie Cox recently sat down for an interview and shared more as to how he was excited for the show’s next season.

When news broke that Daredevil had been cancelled by Netflix, many fans were left in shock as the show was well received by fans and critics alike. The show not only helped re-introduce the character of Daredevil, but established a much more grounded storyline with amazing fight sequences. The show started with a very good season and as it progressed, it became better with many even agreeing that its third season was its best one yet.

Though Daredevil garnered much popularity with fans and critics, Netflix went forward with its cancellation and there have been a few more details about the show and actors’ reactions to the news. Recently the star of the show, Charlie Cox, sat down with Collider to share more about the cancellation and how excited he was when he heard about what was in store for season four. Here’s what he had to say:

“Yeah. I know that they pitched the whole season to Netflix. I knew little details ’cause typically I don’t like to know the whole story whilst it’s being written, but I knew the basics of the ideas that they had, and I was very excited.”

Charlie Cox seems to have some idea of where the show was headed and after a great third season there is no question that it would have been a great one to look forward to. Much like Charlie Cox, fans would be excited to see where the show was planning to go next.
