‘Daredevil’ Showrunner Teases New Series With Show’s Cast

It seems that despite the untimely cancelation of Daredevil, showrunner Erik Oleson is not done with the show’s cast!

During a recent Twitter exchange, the producer was asked to create an anthology show using only the cast of the latest season. Oleson’s response was to accuse the person of reading his mind. At the end of the Tweet was a hashtag indicating that he was working on something similar.

You can see the full exchange below:

The show, as we all know, was canceled late last year after the debut of the show’s third season. This followed on the heels of the relatively unmourned ending of Iron Fist and the shocking axing of Luke Cage after their second seasons. Fans had been fearing that Daredevil would be next and these fears were justified as the show was officially canceled in November of 2018. From the look of things, the Daredevil showrunner isn’t willing to let his actors go unemployed for very long.

What do you all make of this Tweet? Would you like to see the actors reunite for a different kind of show? Would you rather have a fourth season of Daredevil? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Daredevil Season 3 stars Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Wilson Bethel, Jay Ali, and Lesley Ann Warren.

Missing for months, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) reemerges a broken man, putting into question his future as both vigilante Daredevil and lawyer Matthew Murdock. But when his archenemy Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is released from prison, Matt must choose between hiding from the world, or embracing his destiny as a hero.

Daredevil Season 3 is now streaming on Netflix.

Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the future of the Netflix corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we learn it.
