‘Daredevil’ Star Vincent D’Onofrio Open To Do A DC Film

Vincent D'Onofrio, who plays Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in Marvel's 'Daredevil' series on Netflix expresses that he would be willing to take a role in a DC film.

Daredevil scene-stealer Vincent D’Onofrio is an incredibly versatile actor. He manages to disappear into almost every role he is given, which is a major advantage to have in the industry. Even though D’Onofrio already has a role within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, potentially taking a role in the DC Extended Universe is something he’d be open to.

On Twitter, a fan asked the actor if he would take a role in a DC film regardless of already being a Marvel character. D’Onofrio simply replied that he would be interested:

Regardless of the decades-long rivalry between Marvel and DC, there definitely isn’t any bad blood between the two brands as hostile as seen from a vocal minority on the internet. In fact, we have even seen Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige express excitement over the success of Wonder Woman.

Knowing that D’Onofrio would be game for a DC film, what character would you like to see him play? Do you want to see him play a hero or villain? Regardless of what role he would choose, fans should rest easy knowing that they are guaranteed an incredible performance.

Murdock sets up practice in his old neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen, New York where he now fights against injustice as a respected lawyer by day and masked vigilante at night.

All episodes of the first two seasons of Marvel’s Daredevil are available to stream on Netflix. Meanwhile, Daredevil will next appear in Marvel’s The Defenders, which will be available to stream on August 18, 2017.
