‘Dark Phoenix’ Confirmed As The Final Chapter In The ‘X-Men’ Films

Fox’s Dark Phoenix is confirmed to be the final chapter in the X-Men films before the characters return to Marvel.

Cinemacon has been providing a bunch of footage and surprises for comic book films and now we have more details regarding Dark Phoenix. Dark Phoenix has featured amazing footage in its trailers clearing some fans’ doubts about the film. Even though the ride may have been rocky, the films appears to contain some eye-catching action sequences featuring Sophie Turner as Jean Grey/Phoenix. With film appearing to pack a punch, it now seems it may be packing a lot more when it arrives in theaters. You can view the new details regarding Dark Phoenix as the “final chapter” below.

Dark Phoenix is promised to be “the perfect sendoff for our X-Men team”. This line could be meaning the team behind the film is ready to go on a big sendoff before the characters return to Marvel. Along with being promised as “the perfect sendoff”, Dark Phoenix is also promised to be the “final chapter” for this X-Men world. This could mean that the film may go all out with its story. For fans hoping to see these characters join Marvel’s superheroes, this may seem like sad news, but the film could feature some great scenes and end on a high note in the end.

In DARK PHOENIX, the X-MEN face their most formidable and powerful foe: one of their own, Jean Grey. During a rescue mission in space, Jean is nearly killed when she is hit by a mysterious cosmic force. Once she returns home, this force not only makes her infinitely more powerful, but far more unstable. Dark Phoenix will be released in theaters on June 7, 2019.
