A battle between two of comics’ most notorious villains has been an ongoing debate for years. Thanos has emerged as one of the most iconic villains in popular culture after his appearance in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. Meanwhile, Darkseid was supposed to make an appearance in the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League, but with changes made on the film, the DC character still awaits his live-action debut.
The famous Justice League villain was first created by Jack Kirby in 1970 while Marvel’s Thanos was created in 1973 by Jim Starlin. The battle between some of the most powerful villains in comics broke out on Twitter after a post from Twitter user, @El__Yaq. Here is what some fans had to say about Thanos vs. Darkseid:

Cut-Justice League villain, Darkseid, is now set to appear in the upcoming New Gods film, directed by Ava DuVernay, who is co-writing the script with DC Comic’s Tom King. Warner Bros. and DC’s New Gods film will be based on characters created and designed by Jack Kirby such as Darkseid.
New Gods is one of the many projects currently being developed by Warner Bros. and DC. These projects include The Batman, The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, Black Adam, Cyborg, Supergirl, and Nightwing.
