Dave Bautista Slams Arrow Star Stephen Amell For WrestleMania Comments

Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista responded to comments about WrestleMania made by Arrow star Stephen Amell.

Dave Bautista is set to take on Triple H next month at WWE’s WrestleMania 35 and when Stephen Amell learned about the pending match, the Arrow star shared his excitement with a message on social media in which he also stated that he doesn’t “want to see a celebrity angle detract from an awesome wrestling card.” In response, Dave Bautista listed his many accomplishments as a celebrity and former heavyweight champion, adding that perhaps the celebrity angle “adds to the card.”

It is possible that Stephen Amell was referencing his own tag-team match at Summerslam in 2015, in which the Arrow star partnered with Neville to go up against Stardust and King Barret, as opposed to criticizing the Guardians of the Galaxy star’s upcoming match. But Dave Bautista doesn’t appear to see Stephen Amell’s comments that way.

Stephen Amell’s Arrow is set to conclude its seventh season this May before returning for the eighth and final season. Meanwhile, Dave Bautista has joined the cast of Denis Villeneuve’s remake of Dune and is reportedly being eyed for a role in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad.
