‘Avengers: Endgame’ Star Dave Bautista Throws Major Shade At ‘Fast And Furious’ Franchise

Avengers: Endgame star Dave Bautista is throwing shade at the Fast and Furious franchise after a Twitter user suggested him as a villain for the next movie.

Dave Bautista took to Twitter to trash the Fast and Furious franchise. After a fan tweeted about John Cena and The Rock getting spin-offs for the series, they also wished for Dave Bautista as the villain. Dave Bautista was not a fan of the idea, using the hashtag #idratherdogoodfilms in his message. The harsh tweet also contained a few barf emoji’s to top off Dave Bautista’s dislike for the movie. Here’s the tweet:

While not a fan of the Fast and Furious franchise, Dave Bautista is no stranger to blockbuster films. Starting as a professional wrestler, Dave Bautista began an acting career in 2006. He became well known after being cast as Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy and will reprise his role as the character in the upcoming third Guardians movie. In addition to that, Dave Bautista has his hands full with the films StuberEscape Plan: The Extractors, and the upcoming movie My Spy.

The Fast and Furious franchise continues to go strong with the upcoming Hobbs & Shaw film set for August 2, 2019. In addition to that, John Cena has just been announced for Fast & Furious 9. The next movie will bring back Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and the rest of the main cast from the previous Fast and Furious movies.

Do you think Dave Bautista’s response was harsh? Would you want to see him eventually play a role in the Fast and Furious franchise? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments!

Dave Bautista was last seen as Trent DeRosa in the movie Escape plan: the Extractors.

Hobbs & Shaw is being directed by David Leitch (Deadpool 2) from a script written by franchise veteran Chris Morgan. Original Film’s Neal H. Moritz and Seven Bucks Productions’ Hiram Garcia are producing the film.

“A spinoff of The Fate of the Furious, focusing on Johnson’s US Diplomatic Security Agent Luke Hobbs forming an unlikely alliance with Statham’s Deckard Shaw.”

The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Vanessa Kirby, Eddie Marsan, Eiza Gonzalez and Idris Elba.

Hobbs & Shaw will hit theaters August 2, 2019. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on Hobbs and Shaw, as well as the future of the Fast and Furious franchise.
