Almost a month ago, it was reported that Zack Snyder would return to filmmaking, directing a zombie film for Netflix called Army of the Dead. This is one of the first projects Zack Snyder took upon with his company, The Stone Quarry, after exiting DC’s Justice League after the loss of his daughter. Zack Snyder will direct the movie for Netflix while his wife, Deborah Snyder, is set to produce it alongside Wesley Coller. While the story of the film was developed by Zack Snyder, the script for Army of the Dead was penned by Joby Harold. Here is the synopsis for the film:

“The adventure is set amid a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, during which a man assembles a group of mercenaries to take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantined zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.”

Army of the Dead hits Netflix in 2020.

Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on Zack Snyder’s upcoming project as we learn it.
